About the Project
This resin driveway installation in Canewdon was a full ground-up transformation. The property originally had an uneven, mixed-surface front area that had become difficult to maintain. The homeowners wanted something clean, modern and long-lasting that would enhance the front of the house without the upkeep associated with traditional materials.
Our team cleared the existing surface, prepared the ground and rebuilt the area with new levels, fresh edging and a solid sub-base. The goal was to create a driveway that looked elegant but would also perform reliably year after year.
The Process
The project began with excavation and removal of the original surface so we could start with a clean base. Once cleared, the team installed new edging around the perimeter to give the layout structure and to frame the resin finish. After this, the sub-base was compacted and shaped to achieve the correct drainage and long-term stability.
When the preparation work was complete, we mixed the resin and aggregate on site and laid the new surface across the driveway in one continuous application. This creates an even, seamless finish that immediately lifts the appearance of the property. Resin bound surfacing is known for its natural stone look as well as its permeability, allowing rainwater to drain away without pooling.
